Tasting Notes:

Lifted aromas of citrus blossom and lime on the nose leads to the concentrated palate showing flavours of stonefruit and nectarine. The wine was given extended lees contact time, which helps impart the generous texture and balances the refreshing acidity.

Technical:

Our aim in the vineyard is to grow the best fruit we can so it can speak of its home and express its personality. To do this you need healthy vines and soil. By practicing organics and incorporating some biodynamic principles we believe we are doing our best to help achieve this and let our vineyards evolve and speak as they would like.

The grapes were hand harvested and whole bunch pressed then the juice was fermented in tank with cultured yeast creating a wine that retains the purity of varietal expression.

The gorgeous bouquet shows lemon curd, baked apple, potpourri and lime zest characters with subtle spicy complexity. The palate is taut and linear, while delivering terrific fruit power and intensity, wonderfully supported by crisp acidity, finishing superbly long and dry.
