The golden skins of the 2014 Riesling fruit have been expressed on the nose as honeyed fruits & grilled almond, which complement the bright stonefruit nectar aromas of this wine. Our winemaker used extended yeast lees contact time in tank, this provides plumpness to the palate which finishes bright, stony and dry.

The wine is just starting to show gorgeous bottle developed complexity together with elegant fruit intensity, displaying lime sorbet, apple, lemon curd and floral with a hint of flinty notes on the nose. The palate is concentrated and focused, and delivers excellent weight and fine texture, wonderfully enhanced by subtle sweetness and bright acidity.

Attractively scented... fleshy, it has ripe stonefruit and spice flavours, showing good concentration, and a finely textured off-dry (7.5 grams/litre residual sugar) finish. Drinking well now, it's certified organic.

This is a firm, tight and dry Riesling with lime flavours and hints of exotic fruits, complexed by the beginnings of secondary toast and mineral notes.
Our aim in the vineyard is to grow the best fruit we can so it can speak of its home and express its personality. To do this you need healthy vines and soil. By practicing organics and incorporating some biodynamic principles we believe we are doing our best to help achieve this and let our vineyards evolve and speak as they would like.
The grapes were hand harvested and whole bunch pressed then the juice was fermented in stainless steel with cultured yeast creating a wine that retains the purity of varietal expression.
