Marlborough’s famously rich soils give this Misty Cove Pinot Gris a fruit sweetness that's long and dry with hints of spice and Turkish delight on the nose. Enjoy this crisp drop when the sun is shining, along with great mates and good food. 

Technical:

Misty Cove’s Pinot Gris is lovingly handcrafted and produced from our upper Wairau Valley vineyard where stony old river bed soils help create a floral and fleshy wine that truly captures Marlborough’s unique environment.

Six hours skin contact to enhance flavours and texture. Fermented at 11-13° with two selected yeasts and stopped at 4.5 g/L residual to produce an off-dry wine with more mouthfeel and structure.

It is instantly appealing on the nose showing nectarine, fresh pear, orange peel and floral characters, followed by a succulent palate that is juicy and fleshy. The wine offers terrific varietal flavours backed by smooth mouthfeel and a lengthy tasty finish. Crowd-pleasingly delicious.
