Tasting Notes:

Light straw in colour, the 2013 Nordic Frost shows fragrant aromas of lemon and citrus, balanced with minerality and underlying notes of peach and green apple. A soft, oily texture on the palate provides flavours of honeysuckle and confectionary lemon candy. Lively acid carries the lemon fruit through for a fresh, clean finish

Technical:

Where it originated, we aren’t sure. It’s often only whispered as the cold shoulder or the silent treatment.  But that’s only a small part of the story.   It is the crisp, dry humour that helps balance out the intensity in all our relationships, making us love it the most.

The 2013 Riesling was picked slightly early to try to maintain the lively natural fruit acid of this variety and then slowly cold fermented with a specially selected yeast strain to maximise production of aromatics for 21 days to maintain the fresh fruit characters.
