Tasting Notes:

Pale gold with green hues in colour. Aromas of Melon and warm brioche. On the palate, nectarine, peach and blood orange fruit flavours backed up with almond, oatmeal and hazelnut derived from the French oak barriques. A minerality is evident throughout the palate whilst still maintaining an opulent creaminess from the lees stirring. The mid palate generosity is pulled into line with a fresh lime acid finish deeming it a seamless wine.

Technical:

La Bise is French for the kiss and is the name given to a Southerly wind that blows over burgundy just before harvest so giving the vines the kiss of life.The best vintages of Burgundy are often attributed to a strong La Bise. The wines are about fruit and vineyard expression. We aim for for mouthfeel and drinkability without high alcohol. We pick early in the vineyard to give wines that are lower in alcohol by nature as we believe this gives better drinkability and longevity.
