Tasting Notes:

Pale green in appearance with typical Clare Valley Riesling citrus characters of lemon and lime on full display along with some attractive floral notes. The balanced acidity ensuring a bright, clean finish. Great with any seafood – try with blue swimmer crab linguine.

Technical:

This wine comes from three different blocks on the vineyard and our intention is to make a wine in the modern Australian Riesling style – crisp, dry and fresh.

‘Celtic Farm’ just puts me straight in mind of Spinal Tap, for some reason. And I’ll leave it at that. A little sulphur, lavender, spice, lime and lime leaf. Offers a lovely crunchy feel, lightness of touch, bitter lemon and lime flavours, a gentle slaty character and long chalky dry finish with a distinct quinine tang. Good wine of excellent character here."
