Tasting Notes:

Intense purple and black in colour. Enchanting nose with of plums, blueberries, mulberry with hints of tobacco leaf, black olive and lovely oak and earth nuances. A full bodied, rich and upfront style that has excellent fruit intensity with plum, mulberry and black olive notes with a strong back bone of oak along with a velvety tannin structure.

Technical:

Sourced from several vineyards located across the Barossa Valley. The fruit was picked over various times which ensured blending options for a more complex finished wine. The individual parcels were fermented in stainless steel fermenters and then select parcels were macerated with some skin contact for seven days to add further complexity. The wines were allowed to spontaneously undergo malolactic fermentation and were then matured with select parcels going into second hand hogshead barrels until final blending filtration and bottling.
