Tasting Notes:

Bright and lively notes aromatic notes of blackcurrant and mulberry fruit follows through to the palate where they are joined by some classic black pepper spice and dark chocolate. The palate shows some early mouth-filling roundness before a subtle lattice tannin frame provides genuine structure, balance and control as the wine moves through the mouth.

Accolades & Awards:

93 Point Rated & 5 Stars Sam Kim Wine Orbit
Gorgeously styled and immediately appealing, the wine shows black/blueberry, violet, toasty oak and dark chocolate aromas, followed by a concentrated palate that's succulent and plump. Richly textured and persistent with a lengthy delicious finish. At its best: now to 2035

91 Point Rated - Stuart Knox The Real Review
Medium to deep ruby red colour. Blueberry, woody herbs, and coffee grounds lift from the glass. Palate sits just on the lighter side of full bodied and is all the more appealing for it. Blue fruits are fresh and vibrant and there's subtle layers underneath of anise and rosemary. Tannins offer control and are fine grained right to the finish. A wine offering much appeal and great value.

90 Point Rated - Dave Brookes Halliday Wine Companion
Aged for 12–14 months in seasoned oak hogsheads. Characters of ripe blood plums, macerated summer berry fruits and cranberry on a base of spice, dark chocolate, licorice and earth. Medium bodied with a fresh line of acidity, gentle tannin and a medium-length finish with plenty of spicy, black-fruited enjoyment. There is good value here.
