Medium bodied. Rich blackcurrant/cassis with a sweet herbal characters. Well balanced acidity and careful oak integration creating a seamless wine with a lingering finish.
92 Point Rated - Ray Jordan Wine Pilot
"Pure essence of the Margaret River DNA on the nose. Blackcurrant and bay leaf with a lift of graphite say this is cabernet. It’s a powerful wine that has been brought together under a canopy of chalky tannins, fine-grained oak and that plush essence of fruit. It’s bright and vibrant with a long cellaring future."
91 Point Rated - Andrew Caillard Vintage Wine Journal
"Deep crimson. Inky blackcurrant, mulberry, dried plum aromas with graphite, hint mocha notes. Supple dark fruits, fine loose-knit chalky tannins, very good mid-palate richness and fine linear acidity. Builds up cedar firm with inky graphite notes. Early drinking style and alcohol giving it buoyancy and volume. 1005 Cabernet sauvignon. 2022-2026."
Stuart Knox The Real Review
"Deep ruby with purple into the rim. Blackberry and ground coffee aromas. Good concentration of dark fruit on entry, some dusty earth and dry leaf savoury notes add character. Tannins are firm and slightly clip the finish. Good value and time will help it open up."

The fruit was crushed in separate parcels for primary fermentation, with all blend components, seeing some extended “time on skins” to soften them in the resulting wine, before pressing. The wine was matured in French barriques for 14-16 months. After maturation individual barrels were selected by the winemaking team for the blend, with small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet France blended in for the classic “Bordeaux” blend.
