Tasting Notes:

Beautiful crimson/purple colour.Fruit driven style with blackberry, dark plum, and licorice all featuring on the nose. Rich and juicy, the palate has blackberry and plum flavours complimented with hints of licorice, spice and sweet cherry. Medium bodied wine with soft, silky tannins and a savoury, persistent finish.

When I opened the 1st bottle of Laneway Shiraz I couldn't believe how much I liked it. My wife has a more discerning palate than I and she gave it a big thumbs up. What's not to like? There's no blurb on the back of the label so I'll give it a go. Hints of dark cherry and liquorice on the nose , rewarding to the mouth with a near perfect balance to the fruit and tannins, all this and a lovely vibrant colour to boot!! I've just ordered 2 more cases thinking about it!
