Cirro Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020

This sav is bright and youthful, and unbelievably easy to pair with seafood and salads. Rather than overripe fruitiness, you get generous squeezes of lemon and lime, bunches of nettles and gooseberries, and a faint aromatic hint of fresh mint. It feels like it’ll cure your cold just smelling it. Cleaner than the air after a storm, it’s one you’ll struggle to tire of. Simple but wonderfully effective.

Baby Doll Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020

The nose is lifted with fresh notes of passion fruit and blackcurrant leaf with sweet fruit characters on the palate and fresh acidity combining to create an expressive and attractive Sauvignon Blanc.Beautiful with fresh seafood.

Alexander Cameron Limestone Coast Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Light yellow to lime green. A fruit salad nose featuring beautiful notes of peach, melon, pineapple and citrus. The palate is rich and has juicy flavours of lime, guava and pineapple with a wonderful texture, which is almost crunchy.

The Springs Waipara Sauvignon Blanc 2020

This is a lively wine with aromatics of citrus with a hint of nettle and undertones of kiwifruit. The palate is expressive of the clay and limestone soils in the vineyard. It has refreshingly fruity acidity showing great intensity, texture and minerality with a lingering crisp finish.

Conquest Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Cirro Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020

The highest of all clouds, with thin wispy feather-like tails formed by ice crystals.’ 25,000ft above New Zealand’s Southern Alps and the Malborough Sounds lie the ‘cirro’ clouds. Pure water falls from these clouds into the rivers and soils of the Wairau Valley, allowing us to create distinctively fresh, vibrant cool climate wines.

Baby Doll Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020

The 2020 growing season in Marlborough was a hot and dry one. We received small amounts of rain around the end of December, but then no further rain until late February. These rain events had very little impact on soil moisture levels, but helped to replenish our rivers, setting us up nicely to see us through to harvest. Vintage started in mid-March and it provided us with incredibly stable weather. This meant we could pick blocks at their optimum ripeness. The Sauvignon Blanc produced from this vintage has concentrated fruit flavours, with a vibrant pure palate and an elegant fresh finish.

Individual parcels of Sauvignon Blanc were selected for this wine from our Awatere and Wairau Valley vineyards. The parcels were harvested and fermented separately, using selected yeast strains for Sauvignon Blanc to enhance varietal character. A long, cool fermentation took place over four weeks, with the parcels then being blended and stabilised, prior to bottling.

The individual parcels were machine harvested in the cool of the night and then crushed and pressed on arrival to the winery. Once settled, the clear juices were racked off and inoculated with aromatic yeast strains. One finished ferment; the resulting wines were blended together and prepared to bottle.

Johnson Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020

A diverse mix of flood plains at sea level, rising slightly as the vineyards move inland, to valley slopes and high country areas. Marlborough's soils vary from stony flood plains with deep alluvial and gravel soils, to glacial outwash with high clay content and wind-blown loess.

Conquest Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Fruit was sourced from single vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. After the grapes were destemmed and transferred to the tank press where the free run juice was separated and the remaining fruit lightly pressed. The juice was then allowed to cold settle to a clear state then racked into stainless steel fermenters. The juice was the inoculated with selected yeasts to add the required complexity and aromaticity. The ferment period was 14 days while the wine was kept at between 11-14 degrees. After a short period of yeast contact the wine was racked for final blending before being bottled to capture all the tropical fruit flavours.

The Springs Waipara Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Vineyards at Waipara Springs were planted in the early 1980’s and the vines are some of the oldest in the region. Chardonnay was first, followed by a short list of aromats – Riesling,Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer, as well as Pinot Noir and Merlot. ‘The Springs’ range is all about bold, fresh fruit, typical of the region and made to drink young.
