Technical

We selected chardonnay from a single vineyard from vines with generous canopies that allow the fruit to ripen gently and naturally. The fruit was picked early in the season, pressed and then allowed to settle naturally before being filtered. All juice is fermented cold to retain freshness and delicacy before undergoing secondary fermentation in tank to add complexity. A small amount of the wine was carefully selected then blended together to create this amazingly fresh sparkling. We selected a stelvin twist top closure to enable bottles to easily be resealed and retain freshness for an extended period even after opening.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chris from A surprisingly good cheap bubbly Bought this wine for a family party and had some misgivings when it arrived and I discovered it was a screw-top sparkling wine, which I had not expected (my fault!). However, I need not have worried. It turned out to be a very pleasant drink, sparkling and fragrant but not too sweet. Several guests commented favourably on it.
