Southern Lights Marlborough Merlot 2016

This cool climate example of the varietal is medium bodied, displays vibrant ruby red to plum hues and is full of tempting berry flavours. It is well structured, showing great fruit depth balanced with a genre influence of oak and pressing softly integrated tannins.

Sieur d Arques Cremant De Limoux Brut Nv

Yellow gold colour with green tints, the purl is tiny and long lasting. The nose is fresh and vivid with a mix of white flowers, white fleshed fruits, peach and green apples and citrus aromas. The wine develops notes of hazelnut. The attack is frank and vivid with a nice unctuousness. The wine is powerful, well balanced with toasted notes on the finish.

Chateau Haut Philippon AOP Bordeaux Rouge 2019

This cuvee presents a charming and rich attach, an opulent fruit (notes of small red berry, strawberry, raspberry, and cherr brandy) and a suppleness on the palate which does not detract from its depth. The tannins are ripe, the wine is very gourmand.

Blend 70 Chardonnay 20 Chenin 10 Mauzac. Exclusively hand-picked of selective grapes. First fermentation in vats with temperature control to develop the palette of aromas, then 2nd fermentation the prise de mousse takes place slowly in the bottle. Ageing on laths during a minimum of 15 months.

Ronco di Sassi Vino Bianco d'Italia 2019

The well ripen grapes are harvested just at the right time in August. The fermentation takes place in a controlled temperature tank at low temperature, in order to maintain the perfumes as fresh as possible. A part of the must is fermented in barrique to provide aromatic complexity and longevity to the finished wine.

Anciano Gran Reserva Tempranillo Aged 7 Years 2010

Tempranillo grapes were hand picked from 30 year-old vines in stony vineyards – Valdepeñas means “valley of stones” – in late August/early September. The soils are clayey lime and there is a chalky layer which retains water to refresh the vines. Altitude helps moderate summer heat, as the climate in Valdepeñas is classic continental, with cold winters and long hot, dry summers. Fermentation was at controlled temperatures (25-28º C) in stainless steel tanks for 8-10 days. The wine was then matured for at least eighteen months in oak barriques with varying toasting levels. 2010 has been rated “Very Good” by the Valdepeñas DO. Generally, the climate and therefore grape harvest, is remarkably consistent in this part of Spain.
