Tasting Notes:

A beautiful colour, the bouquet has intense aromas of honeysuckle, musk and pear that lead onto a powerful palate that is succulent and richly textured and full of ripe, exotic fruits with a wonderfully long, smooth finish.

Technical:

"Our aim is best summed up by ‘fine wine begins with the vine’. Our approach is through sustainable viticulture where we strive for balance in the vineyard. This ultimately provides grapes that are a reflection of our particular site". The grapes were hand harvested in two pickings. The first pick was whole bunch pressed with the free run pressings fraction kept separate. The free-run was fermented in stainless steel while the pressings were fermented in one year old oak. The second pick was late harvested, whole bunch pressed and fermented in older oak.
