Tasting Notes:

The 2011 Olssen Riesling shows intense lime on the nose and just about leaps out of the glass. Balance, depth of flavour, fruit purity and length are keys to the palate.

Technical:

The riesling grapes for this wine came from a block in our Watervale vineyard planted in the late 1970s. Cooler than normal February temperatures enabled the fruit to retain delicate nuances as it ripened. Varietal purity, concentration of flavour, ripe-fruit acidity, balance and fineness are the hallmarks of this wine.
