An awesome nose of sumptuous flowering frangipanis lemon and honey greets the drinker upon opening and that is exciting contrasted in subtle measure by the necessary grounding of acidity that is typical of a late harvest Riesling Give this wine a few generous moments to familiarise itself with the atmosphere and the good time get set to role and will reward your patience paving the way for your gestation. Here the primary pleasure is of luscious sweet honey with omniscient citrus fruits such as lemon and baby apples teasing the palate. Again with this being a late picked harvest there is a real bite in the taste and a blended harmony between sweet and tangy a wine that stands up for itself.
