Tasting Notes:

The 2006 Viognier was hand picked when flavours were at their peak for maximum flavour on the palate. On the nose, it has a rich yet subtle aroma and finishes with subtle oak flavours.

The Mount Torrens Vineyard was established in 1996. It has an elevation of 450-500 metres with 6 acres of Shiraz and Viognier on east facing slopes. The Solstice Shiraz Viognier is the end result of many years of planning to produce a true estate grown co fermented wine.

Technical:

Mount Torrens Vineyard Solstice Viognier 2006 is an estate grown wine from the cool climate Adelaide Hills. The grapes were hand harvested when flavours were at their peak in mid April and then aged in second use only French oak for 15 months.
