DESCRIPTION
Pale to mid straw in colour with an aroma of bright primary fruits of melon, nectarine and citrus provide great lift on the nose with a subtle element of shortbread evident from a short time on yeast lees following fermentation. The palate has fantastic freshness and flavour. Crunchy nectarine, green apple and melon flavours dominate with lovely fresh natural acidity providing great length.

Fruit for our Gnangara Chardonnay is sourced from vineyards situated throughout Western Australia, with the majority coming from the cool Manjimup and Frankland River regions.
Cool nights, typical of the south-west Western Australian winegrowing regions, produced ideal ripening conditions for white grape varieties. These conditions provided fruit with fantastic colour intensity, ripeness and varietal definition.
Best enjoyed in its youth perfectly matched with smoked salmon on ricotta and zucchini pancakes; asparagus and parmesan risotto.
