| Description |
Normans is one of the oldest and most respected names in Australian winemaking. Since 1853, when Jesse Norman planted his first vines in Adelaide, Normans has developed a reputation for premium award winning wines. The Normans Chandlers Hill range of wines come from selected vineyards across South Australia including the Adelaide Hills and Coonawarra regions.
Masterfully made by award winning winemaker Roger Harbord this wine is deep vibrant red in colour with light purple hues around the edges. The bouquet shows classic, varietal aromas of cassis, red capsicum and choc-mint which are enhanced by sun-dried tomato, with a touch of earthiness. A long, complex palate features rich velvety tannins, with plum, nutmeg and cherry flavours interwoven with earthy, minty hints.
Cellaring Potential: Great to drink now, but will mature and develop complexity over the next 5 years.
