"I know. I know. You'd don't expect to see a sparkling sauvignon, much less a sparkling sauvignon with a 'Bloody Good rating. Well, De Bortoli is just the kind of wine company that can get away with something like this. The bubbly is floral with bright, lively, tropical fruit flavours and some appley characters, very clean and balanced so that some sweetness on the finish is scarcely noticeable. It's very much fruit-driven and delightfully tangy."

Pale straw with lovely green hues, it has lovely bouquet of gooseberry and grassy aromas intermingled with tropical notes. The palate shows soft, tropical fruit flavours, fine persistent bubbles and a clean refreshing finish.
Selected parcels of fruit from premium wine growing areas were harvested in excellent condition and gently pressed to retain varietal character and freshness. Winemaking techniques included fermentation with solids as well as cool & warm fermentation. These techniques improve texture and softness without sacrificing varietal expression.
Cellaring: For immediate enjoyment. The wine will, however, continue to soften and develop more complexity over the next 2 years.
Medium dry and light bodied, it is the perfect apéritif on it’s own or enjoy with seafood or Thai dishes.
