Tasting Notes:

Blackish blue in colour with flashes of purple. It is rich on the nose with vibrant blackcurrant fruit, olive and leafy aromas. It has a solid structure with pure fruit intensity and is well balanced with hints of eucalyptus, plum, fruit and spice. Silky smooth tannins and bold fruit lingers on the palate completing the wine.

Technical:

The fruit was crushed immediately after delivery to the winery. The skin and juice mix is allowed to warm naturally over several days after which it begins fermentation. Fermentation is held cool which helps to retain bright primary fruit characters in the wine. Following ferment the wines are carefully pressed separating them from the skins. The wine is then run down to oak barrels for eighteen months for maturation before being blended and then bottled.
