Jardim Do Bomfim is a boutique producer sourcing grapes from a selection of growers and vineyards across South Australia’s premium viticultural regions including McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek, Adelaide Hills and the Barossa Valley.

Full dense red with vibrant crimson highlights. Attractive ripe fruit nose showing cassis and blackcurrant aromas provides the characters expected of fine, high quality McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon. Sophisticated French oak has contributed cedar like nuances. As the wine matures, expect to see cigar-box complexity with age. Full bodied and crisp on the palate, it has a firm level of very fine tannins running through it and a good concentration of berry and earth flavors. The finish is long and well balanced.
Cellaring Potential: Drink over the next 5 years.
The select parcels of fruit which make up this wine were crushed into and fermented in open top vessels, with regular pump over's 3 times daily to extract flavours, colour and tannin. The batches were then drained and pressed to tank and then racked to barrel for oak maturation.
