Tasting Notes:

The ripe fruit almost candied with burnt notes blend harmoniously. This wine is fleshy with elegant tannins.

Technical:

Grape Varieties: Merlot 70%, Cabernet Franc 25%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%

 

Traditional vinification process with cold maceration, all under temperature control. Three weeks of fermentation. Aged in stainless steel tanks. 


Founded in 1904, the property was called "Domaine du Grand Moulin". In addition to the farm buildings dating from the last century, Gabriel Bruneteau built the charming manor in the heart of the domain.

 

In the early 80s, the property changed its name to "Château Les Aubiers". The great grandson, Jean Francois Réaud, undertakes to restructure the vineyards through the purchase of new parcels of land and the use of new grape varieties.
