Tasting Notes:

An intense, deep purple colour demands attention, while lifted aromas of coffee, chocolate and ripe red and blackberry fruits follow. The palate is vibrant and full with fruit flavours of dark red berries and plums that fill the mid palate. The soft tannins blend in well with the elegant underlying oak. This is a very approachable, easy drinking Cabernet.

Technical:

Sourcing fruit from the different sites allowed the fruit to be picked over a period of 2 weeks allowing each vineyard to develop differing characters to complement each other. The result is intensely flavoured wines due to the care and attention these growers give them. This wine was fermented warm and received pump overs on a daily basis during their fermentation. Select parcels of the wine received with oak contact to add another level of complexity without overpowering the fruit.
